Proposed Revisions to Local Rules

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut has issued a PUBLIC NOTICE regarding the Public Comment Period for proposed revisions to the Local Rules.
A 30-day public comment period for consideration of the proposed revisions to the Local Rules will commence on January 8, 2026, and end on February 9, 2026.

Comments to the proposed revisions to the Local Rules must be made in writing by sending an e-mail to LocalRules@ctb.uscourts.gov, or you may hand-deliver or mail your comments to the Clerk’s Office at the address below.

The Effective Date of the Local Rules will not be established until after the Public Comment period ends.

Comments must be received no later than 4:00 PM on Monday, February 9, 2026.
