Wednesday, February 17, 2021

This notification contains information regarding upcoming upgrades to the CM/ECF system for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut.  NOTE: If you use bankruptcy filing software to complete and file documents in CM/ECF, you should consider contacting your software provider as soon as possible and confirm that your software has been properly updated.

Below is information on (1) CM/ECF upgrade to version 5.3.4 and related scheduled outage; and (2) scheduled CM/ECF maintenance and outage of the "Judge/Trustee/341 Assignment" utility.

1.            UPGRADE AND SCHEDULED CM/ECF OUTAGE.

CM/ECF will be offline on Saturday, February 20, 2021, to undergo system maintenance and upgrade to version 5.3.4. This upgrade will affect a few data fields in our CM/ECF system. If your office uses bankruptcy filing software to file in our CM/ECF system, please ensure that your software is current and compatible with CM/ECF version 5.3.4.   If your software is not properly updated, you may encounter errors when using it to file in our CM/ECF system.

CM/ECF will be taken offline Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 9:00 AM (EST) and is expected to return online by Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 12:00 PM (EST).

2.            SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE.

Scheduled database maintenance also requires us to temporarily disable the "Judge/Trustee/341 Assignment" utility (JTA) within our CM/ECF system.  Therefore, JTA will be unavailable from February 20, 2021, at 9:00 AM (EST) until Monday, February, 22, 2021, at 9:00 AM (EST).

For any cases filed during the JTA outage, the Clerk's Office will run the JTA process at 3:00 AM (EST) on Monday, February 22, 2021.

Please plan your filings accordingly.
