Re: Contested Matter Procedure
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that effective November 9, 2015, in all divisions of the Court, the Contested Matter Procedure will govern all Contested Matters filed under Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 9014. The Contested Matter Procedure will replace the current Bar Date Procedure. The Bar Date Procedure will no longer be used.
If a hearing in a Contested Matter is required: (1) under applicable statute or rule; (ii) by Order of the Court; or (iii) in accordance with the Contested Matter Procedure, the hearing will be scheduled on a short calendar day or another available date.

The Contested Matter Procedure requires that a NOTICE be filed with every Contested Matter. Click here for the form of Notice to be used in Contested Matters.
In addition, a PROPOSED ORDER must be filed with every Contested Matter. Click here for the listing of preferred forms of PROPOSED ORDERS for specific pleadings.
