The CM/ECF Window 

The CM/ECF window closely simulates the live CM/ECF system. You perform the steps described in the task instruction window here. While the window retains much of the format and functionality of the live system, for purposes of this tutorial some functions have been disabled.

Sample Instructions:

The Case Data screen appears. At this point, the Case Number field is blank. Once the case is opened, CM/ECF will automatically assign the case number. Here's how you complete this form.

Notice the Chapter pull-down menu (highlighted in yellow). The menu lists all chapters with the default set to 7. You are filing a Chapter 13 case, so CLICK the Chapter pull-down arrow, then CLICK 13 to select.
