Public Comment Period for Proposed Revisions to the Local Rules

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut has issued PUBLIC NOTICE 21-01 regarding the Public Comment Period for proposed revisions to the Local Rules.

The Bench/Bar Local Rules Committee recently presented proposed revisions to the Local Rules to the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (the "District Court").  The District Court voted to approve the proposed revisions to the Local Rules. A 30-day public comment period for consideration of the proposed revisions to the Local Rules will commence on March 30, 2021 and end on April 30, 2021. 

The 2021 proposed revisions to the Local Rules are available for review at this link: 2021 Proposed Revisions to Local Rules.   Comments to the proposed revisions to the Local Rules must be made in writing by sending an e-mail to LocalRules@ctb.uscourts.gov, or you may hand-deliver or mail your comments to the Clerk’s Office at the address below.

The Effective Date of the Local Rules will not be established until after the Public Comment period ends.
