Please take notice of changes below which are effective Tuesday, January 17, 2017.

Deficiency Notices:

Effective Tuesday, January 17, 2017, the court will issue a Deficiency Notice and Notice of Dismissal of Case for Failure to Cure Deficiency upon the filing of any petition with deficiencies. No hearing will be scheduled on the deficiencies. The Notice will state that failure to timely file and/or correctly file any of the missing and required documents and/or pay the required filing fee within 14 days of the petition date shall result in the dismissal of the case. This Notice replaces the Deficiency Notice and Order to Show Cause which previously set a hearing upon the filing of a petition with deficiencies.

Motions for Extension of Time:

Effective Tuesday, January 17, 2017, all Motions for Extension of Time shall no longer follow The Contested Matter Procedure. Motions for Extension of Time will be presented to the judge upon filing and only if filed before the expiration of the pending deadline. This includes, but is not limited, to Motions for Extension of Time to File Missing Schedules, Statements and all documents required to be filed under Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure 1007 and 3015, as well as to pay the required filing fee.

Motions to Extend the Automatic Stay:

Effective Tuesday, January 17, 2017, all Motions to Extend the Automatic Stay will no longer follow The Contested Matter Procedure. Motions to Extend the Automatic Stay will be presented to the judge upon filing and only if filed before the expiration of the 30 day deadline.
