BANKRUPTCY NOTICING CENTER UPDATE.

As of May 11, 2026, the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) will not mail notices to recipient addresses that include the countries on the list shown below; these notices will be bypassed. Bypassed recipients are listed within the bypass section of the Certificate of Notice/Mailing. For reference: the U.S. Postal Service also publishes a list of suspended international mail services at: International Service Disruptions.

Welcome to the official website for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut.  The District has three divisional offices which are located in Hartford, New Haven, and Bridgeport.  The Clerk's Office in each division is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, except for Federal holidays.  See the calendar of court closures.
